Founded on 18 Feb 2019 (and part of Blootek Ventures Limited), Bettermove aims to buy your property in a timescale that suits you, regardless of condition or location - although their preference appears to be more akin to an estate agency, based on their reviews (more on that later!).
As a cash buyer, Bettermove takes a slightly different approach to buying than its competitors. They offer either an immediate quick house sale where they purchase your property for cash, or if you can afford to wait they can send your property out to their database of Bettermove investors.
Bettermove has an average sale time of 30 days and has a 24-hour support team. They are also members of The Property Ombudsman as well as the National Association of Property Buyers (NAPB).
They do not make it clear from their website exactly how much below market value they will offer you, however, it is free to make an enquiry.

When it comes to Bettermove reviews, it is always wise to look at and take in your reviews from a wide range of sources in order to ensure that you are getting a fair picture of the company. In the case of Bettermove, there are only two sources available for reviews, which are TrustPilot and Reviews.io.
Bettermove Trustpilot has an overall rating of 4.6, with an overall rating of excellent and 1,368 reviews. Out of these reviews, 88% are 4 star or above and the other 12% are 3 star and below.
1 star reviews make up 11% of their reviews and all tell a fairly similar story, of being unable to sell their property and having to lower the price and try and sell on the open market. However, their 5 star reviews all praise the customer service and process.
Bettermove estate agent reviews on Reviews.io has fewer reviews with only 64, and it doesn't appear like they use the platform. They have an impressive rating of 4.9 with only 1 one-star review.

Good Move are another Leeds-based cash buyer. They claim to have an average sale time of two weeks and to be able to purchase your home in a timescale that suits you regardless of condition or location.
Much like Bettermove, Goodmove are also a member of The Property Ombudsman and the National Association of Property Buyers. Unlike Bettermove, they are also RICs regulated.
Good Move reviews are made up of 94% 5 stars and have an overall rating of excellent.
Quick Move Now also claims like Bettermove to be able to purchase your property in a tailored time frame, regardless of where it is located and the condition that it is in.
Similarly to Bettermove, Quick Move Now also does not give much information on their website as to exactly how much they are willing to offer for your property and instead prompts you to enquire.
Quick Move Now are also members of the National Association of Property Buyers and has a 4.3 rating on Trustpilot.
With an overall score of 4.4 on Trustpilot, We Buy Any House are a cash buyer who unlike its other competitors mentioned here, claims to be able to not only get you an offer in 60 minutes but also to purchase your home in 3 days.
They do not offer much information about who they are as a company but they do mention that they are members of the Property Redress Scheme.

From our analysis, Bettermove seem more like an estate agent than a true cash buyer. They offer alternative sale options for those looking for a higher cash offer, marketing properties with their on-website property portal.
There isn't much on their website in the way of what they offer, or the timeframes they can complete in, with mixed messaging being that they are a cash buyer - but as stated on their how it works page
"We are so confident we can sell your home within 30 days"
