Statistics on their website remain the same as when we last updated this page.

What service do Good Move offer?

The main and core service that Good Move provides it to buy your house quickly, or often referred to as "Sell House Fast" services. They offer a service that is much quicker at buying your house than a traditional method such as using an estate agent on the open market or going to auction.

Information About Good Move

Good Move is a Yorkshire-based company that operate in Leeds. They where first incorporated under ARN Capital on 7th January 2015.

  • Address: Ground Floor, 4320 Park Approach

    Thorpe Park

  • City: Leeds

  • Postcode: LS15 8GB

Although the headquarters are based in Leeds they operate and will buy your home across England & Wales.

It's also worth noting that the address of their office has recently changed.

What is the Good Move property buying process?

Good Move highlights their purchase process on their website with 3 quick steps to selling your home.

Here's a breakdown of the process:
  • Step 1: Start by entering your postcode

Specified as their first step, you start by entering your postcode, however, they will also require your address, name, email address and phone number.

  • Step 2: Receive an offer in 24 hours

Good Move then provide an offer in principle in which if you accept they will instruct an Asset Management Company to arrange a further valuation as well as getting two more valuations on your property. This is at no cost to the homeowners. Once the valuations come back Good Move will formalise the offer which is subject to an RICS survey.

  • Step 3: Exchange & Completion

Once both parties are happy the completion date will be agreed upon and they will complete the purchase of your home for cash.

The way in which this differs from our typical service is that we will send our own Regional Manager to visit your property and provide a finalised offer, as opposed to using external valuations.

Good Move reviews

Good Move has several different review platforms, we’ve picked out and highlighted the trustworthy platforms that have more than just a few reviews, so here are a few of the ratings from across the web:

Goodmove have an incredibly low amount of negative reviews, which is unusual for the type and nature of business that they operate - being a below-market-value property buyer. We, as always, recommend doing your own due diligence and exercising caution when researching.

To give a good overview of their service across reviews, we've pulled out a range of customer feedback, both positive and negative.

I would avoid at all cost

Was dealing with a guy called [NAME REDACTED] which at first seemed genuine until they kept changing offers then offered a blind buy price which means buy as it is to then pull out, they false advertise saying they buy a house in any condition but they don't all they do is put it up for sale, they mess peolle about which meant we lost our wedding day and then he had the cheek to offer a 50quid voucher for me ro remove the review I would avoid at all cost

Feel bad about this deal

Feel bad about this deal. GoodMove offered £80K, then reduced the offer to £60K after the survey. They said it was due to the cost to renovate the property, which seems like a fair reason.

On the day of signing, they were legally required to disclose that they weren't buying and renovating the property, it was being sold to someone else for £80K.

This made me feel like I got a bad deal, because they were making such a high profit margin and had lied during the sale.

I managed to get them up a little bit, but still annoyed enough to write this review.

Everything else was great. Professional. Quick. Efficient.

Bottom line. Nobody should walk away from a business deal feeling like they're the loser.
