How It Works

Jack Bateson gets Back 2 Business and delivers a stellar post lockdown performance.

Jack Bateson, the pro boxer officially sponsored by The Property Buying Company, now has another victory under his belt since his latest fight against Matt Craddock on Sunday.

The fight, entitled ‘Back 2 Business’ in homage of Bateson’s return to the ring, saw him dominate throughout all of the six rounds and go onto clinch yet another victory - Bateson was declared winner by a 60-52 point verdict.

Reflecting on his performance, Jack commented: “Everything went to plan - I kept it long range and took my time. With each round I built my pace and landed a strong body shot in Round 6, which brought Craddock to his knees. As he got up I went back on the attack and put him to the canvas for a second time. Another 10 seconds and I’m confident I could’ve clinched the KO win!

After a year out of the ring, it was great to be back, although it was slightly strange to not have my army of loyal supporters cheering me on

The fight was held behind closed doors at Hangar 34 in Liverpool, due to regulations around social distancing, but was available for fans to stream live online.

He went onto say: “Big thanks to Craddock for being such a formidable opponent and as always a huge shout out to The Property Buying Company for their continued support.

Jack’s triumph over Craddock (2-1) adds another win to his record, following his previous triumphs against Khvicha Gigolashvaili, Bayardo Ramos and Pablo Narvaez. Bateson (12-0, 3KOs) still remains undefeated.

Upon receiving news of victory, CEO and Co-Founder of The Property Buying Company, Jonny Christie, added: “While Jack’s victory comes as great news, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise.

During our time sponsoring Jack, we’ve seen his confidence and technique evolve significantly - if you ask us he’s becoming more formidable every time he’s in the ring and is building a reputation to back it up. We’re incredibly proud to have him wear the TPBC logo. Jack is the one boxer you don’t want to pick a fight with.

This isn’t the first time the 26-year old from Leeds has caused a stir the ring. Since his first fight at just aged 11, Bateson has continued to meet and exceed expectations. Previously, he spent six years on the squad for Team GB and is now managed by boxing talent tycoons, MTK Global.
