Marc Andrews is one of our experienced property experts, he’s been with the company a fair few years now. He’s got a bit of a reputation around the office for being a hard worker, constantly answering calls outside of his normal hours and going the extra mile for customers.

What experience do you have in property?

When I left school at 18, I knew what I wanted to do, work in property. The first job I got was at my Dad’s Estate Agency, which was based in Leeds. It started with the basics, from taking photographs of properties to putting up sold signs, but as I began taking on more responsibility I slowly climbed the ladder and my time there just really cemented my love for the property industry.

Property is a constantly changing and fluid market, so a real emphasis I put on myself is to keep my head down and read all the latest Property Network Magazines and keep up with current events. Outside of being a property geek, I also enjoy the gym & watching Football.

What’s your role at The Property Buying Company?

My role at The Property Buying Company is a Property Consultant. I’m the first port of call once you enquire on our website and I aim to help you all the way through the process, ensuring you get a quick sale. I like to think I’m a good listener, and I’ll always be honest and transparent when I provide advice, it’s my role to try and determine which sale solution will best suit your personal requirements.

Why should customers want to deal with you (what makes you special)?

Well, all of the Property Consultant team are fantastic, but if I had to say something that really gives me the extra edge is that I’m always available and will go the extra mile for my customer, well at least when my wife will let me!

What’s your proudest moment in the job?

I’ve got to say the proudest moment in the job so far has been the Best Newcomer award, and the Employee of the Year awards I’ve claimed – so far…!

What’s been your most challenging moment?

I actually really found it hard to work from home during lockdown, in all honesty, it was probably mostly down to the poor internet connection in my home!


What are your hobbies outside of work?

I’ve got to say my favourite hobby is watching football, it used to be playing, but that ship sailed a long time and many injuries ago, it’s also far too cold in this country! My current fitness based passion is the gym.
