My name is Charlie, I’m one of the Salesforce Administrators here at The Property Buying Company. I deal with building out the CRM system across the company and creating a bespoke experience for each department and their day to day workflow.
I don’t have much experience in the property industry, but I have years of experience with Salesforce & improving operations.
I’ve worked at other companies full time on their Salesforce organisation, as well as being a self-employed Salesforce Consultant with my own clients. I have spent the last 4 years as Operations Director and Shareholder for a startup company based in Canada.
I am one of the Salesforce Administrators, which means my role is to migrate existing data and workflows from other CRM systems and spreadsheets to Salesforce.
I also set up and train new users and build the automation that makes people's day to day jobs far easier.
My role at the company is important as everyone in the company uses Salesforce in their day to day, so it’s important that I am on hand to ensure it always goes smoothly, and if there are any issues with the build out, then we can work around them to make sure transactions stay efficient.
My proudest moment so far would be the entire process of building out each department’s day to day workflow & seeing the reactions of people when we can come up with a way to automate mundane tasks & make their job way easier and more efficient than before.
The most challenging aspect comes from working with each department and realising that everyone works differently and there isn’t a one size fits all approach. This leads to us having to tailor-make each department's work flow & approach the challenges that come with that.
Anything that keeps me active & engaged. I usually spend a large amount of time out on a hike during the weekends, and on weekday evenings, I’m either at the gym or Thai boxing. I’m also always interested in learning new things, like reading, playing chess and going out with friends for food & drinks.
