What experience do you have in property?

Before joining The Property Buying Company, I had very little experience with property, apart from searching Rightmove for houses I would never be able to afford. I also had very little experience in marketing, with me joining the company as an apprentice. Fast forward to a year later and I can genuinely say I didn’t think it was possible to learn so much! Working with the rest of the teams, whether it’s the marketing team or any of the property consultants, always helps, me learn something new, with everyone being so knowledgeable and/or experienced.


What’s your role at The Property Buying Company?

I’m a member of the marketing team and my role is as a digital marketing executive. I mainly focus on content for The Property Buying Company website, helping to get in enquiries for the property consultants to help the company continue to buy houses and help people!


Why is your role important to the company?

My role, and the rest of the marketing team, is important to the company as we are the guys who are working to get enquiries for the property consultants. I also keep the The Property Buying Company blog up to date with relevant and engaging content, making sure customers find it both informative and enjoyable.


What’s been your most challenging moment?

Probably the first few months of working at the company. I’d never had a ‘proper office job’ before or worked in marketing and on top of that I had to learn a lot working from home, thanks to COVID. But I’m always up for a challenge and it was worth the initial panic!


What are your hobbies outside of work?

I love going to the gym or walking my dog after work. I’m also a big foodie and love going out to try different restaurants. On top of that, I’m a big football fan – you can’t beat a cold night at Elland Road!


What three words would your colleagues use to describe you? 

Kind, honest, hard-working.
